Scolecite is a calcium aluminum silicate mineral with a hardness of 5. Most of the available material is from the zeolite deposits of India. It can occur as separate tabular colourless crystals or in white masses.

Mystic Lore: Intuitive sources say Scolecite is a stone of deep inner peace, enhancing the upliftment of conciousness to higher planes.
