Tugtupite is a rare sodium aluminum beryllium silicate mineral with a hardness of 4, and has a red to pink fluorescence under UV light. It was found in Tugtup Agtakorfia, Greenland in 1962. The name is derived from the Greenlandic Inuit word for reindeer tuttu, and means "reindeer blood." It is related to Sodalite.
