Stichtite is a purple or lavender colored form of Serpentine, native to Africa, Australia and the USA.  It often occurs in relatively small raw pieces which exhibit a pearly luster.

Mystic Lore: Intuitive sources say that Stichtite simulates kundalini energies bringing them from the base of the spine to the top of the head.  It is said to facilitate love, forgiveness and spiritual illumination, linking the heart and crown chakra, to offer psychic protection and aid in recovery from illness, trauma, disappointment, anger or depression, and to instill childlike joy.
