Ruby Zoisite is a combination of Zoisite a calcium aluminum silicate mineral with a hardness of 6.5 to 7, and Ruby, an aluminum oxide with a hardness of 9.  The color combination of deep green Zoisite and Red Ruby is quite striking, and much sought-after.
