Tugtupite (A grade)

Each piece of raw Tugtupite is approximately 1" or more in width.  Sold individually.  Comes with a handcrafted name card.  The stone you receive shall be choosen at random from those pictured.

Tugtupite is a rare sodium aluminum beryllium silicate mineral with a hardness of 4, and has a red to pink fluorescence under UV light. It was found in Tugtup Agtakorfia, Greenland in 1962. The name is derived from the Greenlandic Inuit word for reindeer tuttu, and means "reindeer blood." It is related to Sodalite.
